With seniors living longer, the term “assisted living” has become multi-dimensional.  People refer to assisted living environments within independent living facilities, retirement facilities, nursing homes, residential communities…etc. Through experience we have learned that each living environment offers a unique approach of care; there’s an environment to suite every person and every need. Our goal is to help you search for and locate the best living environment for you or your family member.

Types of Senior Housing

Click the items below to learn more about these senior housing options.

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities are ideal for individuals who do not require personal or medical care, but prefer not to live at home alone. Most facilities are equipped with standard safety features to make it easier for residents to continue to maneuver independently. Also, recreational activities are planned by the community, including day field trips, shopping excursions and on-premise projects to provide seniors. A majority of apartments are equipped with a kitchen so the resident can prepare their own meals, however, most facilities offer optional meal plans for residents to ensure preservation of health and safety.
